21st century menu

Last year I went with my mother and my sister to the seaside (our's ..good guess) hoping that we can have that wonderful time together and we compensate for all the time I've been away (a.k.a studying in Bucharest).

So we get in the train to Constanta and off we go- no need to mention about the "refined manele" we listened on the way...So we get, eventually (hope I can make it to show you some pictures with the small "buses" that take you from one place to another on the seaside).

Next thing, we get room-usual process give something to the girl at the reception for a better room, and than go to the beach and enjoy the rest of the sun. Next day beach, sun and hunger--yes after fun comes the stomach and reminds you he exists - so we go at the hotel's restaurant. There I must confess I was amazed by the quality of the service, the menu-always changing and so--"well designed" (see the picture).

"Welcome to Romania!"

I am surprised they bothered to print a page for us. Nice of them, right? ;) I am curious if this year they changed anything-I will check.

Enjoy the sun!

"Life is a bold and dashing adventure"

I have always wanted to try a fortune cookie - what could something like that predict the future?or what could one of them predict me - that's something I have always wondered.
Lucky me as I have friends that guess my wishes - so my good friend, Anca, brought me one from USA. So as soon as I received it I opened the magical, rough cookie and read the message: "Life is a bold and dashing adventure". We looked at each other and started laughing - couldn't be closer to the life I am experiencing...

So I will continue telling you my adventures on my way of taking the lead... I will give you just one advice at the beginning of our my stories: "Nothing is what is seems".

Put your seat belts and close your... prejudices.Enjoy the ridding;)
